We offer a variety of options for photo & video packages so that we can best fit your wedding day plans, if you don’t see a package that works for you, we will build a custom one!

Our Style + Approach

We will spend A LOT of time together so we think it is important that you know the way we approach photography on your wedding day.

Our style is candid and/or documentary style depending on who you ask, but what does that really mean when it comes to your wedding day?

It means that we aren’t going to stop the action happening in all of the little moments of the day, we will capture the moment exactly as it happens in real time. Sure, sometimes the lighting isn’t the most ideal, sometimes there is clutter on a counter or a person in the background. Honestly, some of the most beautiful moments happen in the most inopportune times and places (from a technical standpoint) but capturing the raw emotion of the moment is so much more important to us than having “the perfect shot” every time. That’s not to say that we don’t come prepared with our flash, a bag of different lenses and all that fun stuff, but sometimes a moment is fleeting and we think capturing it in any way is better than missing it completely.

So that means sometimes a photo or two might not match the rest of the gallery, it might be a little darker, maybe a little grainier or have a slight blur to it. The photo might not be perfect, but the memory will be.

What we won’t do is interrupt you and your friends laughing and having fun to “smile and say cheese”, we aren’t going to move you and your mom to a better lighting location when she is in the middle of gifting you a family heirloom as you are getting ready, and we definitely won’t cut your cake for you (yes we’ve seen this happen). We do our best to keep a distance during your reception and shoot photos with a longer lens to help capture natural candid moments of you and your guests without feeling intruded on.

Although most of the day is candid, there are moments where instruction and posing is helpful! We always help with formal family photos and give direction to help create beautiful photos of you, your partner and your bridal party.

When looking back at your wedding day, the little things truly become the big things. It’s a moment with grandma as she imparts wisdom from years of marriage experience or a big hug from your niece who just saw you in your dress for the first time. These are the moments that our past couples seem to cherish the most and we feel that staging or trying to change that moment only takes away from its authenticity.

Making sure your wedding day flows smoothly and stress free is one of our biggest priorities!

Hi-Res Downloads

We DO NOT limit the number of edited photos that are delivered to you EVER. You are hiring us for the in-person experience on your wedding day and our abilities to capture those beautiful moments for you. We feel it’s your right to have all of those moments without being limited to a certain number of downloads.

All of your best images will be edited and delivered to you in the highest resolution we have availble.

Engagement Sessions

Engagement sessions are so important! That’s why we include 2 complimentary sessions before your wedding. You read that right, you can have up to 2 engagement sessions complimentary!

These sessions are a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better, for you and your partner to get comfortable in front of the camera and to see our style of photography in action.

Printing Assistance

Since you have the ability to download your images in high resolution that also means you have the option to print with any printing company you choose. You are more than welcome to take this route and print on your own, however we cannot and do not ensure the quality of prints from third party print companies (walmart, walgreens, shutterfly etc.)

What we do offer that ensures a high quality print is the option to order directly through your online gallery or to sit down together and choose your prints. When you print with us directly, your images will be printed at a professional print lab that specializes in portrait printing and offers a quality guarantee.

Secure Online Gallery

All of your images from your engagement sessions and your wedding day will be stored in an online gallery that you can easily access.

We’ve photographed over 100 weddings and honestly, we’ve seen it all at this point; torrential downpours that move ceremonies inside at the last minute, overnight snowstorms that delay wedding day plans, large rowdy bridal parties, ripped suits & dresses, drunk uncles, missing bouquets, missing bridesmaids, you name it and we’ve probably seen it at a wedding.

With this experience comes a calm in the crazy moments. We are there to let you know it’s all going to be okay and that you have nothing to worry about, all while snapping photos to capture the memory for you still. We got your back!

  • Yes you can! If you don’t see a package with the amount of coverage hours you’d like for your wedding day we would be happy to do a custom package!

    We also offer hourly rates for elopements, courthouse weddings and smaller intimate weddings.

  • Yes we do! We love to travel and are always happy to visit a new city or wedding venue! We do our best to keep our travel fees to a minimum.

    Locally we include the first 50 miles of travel each way from Rochester, NY, and then we have a small travel fee for any distance further than the 50 miles.

    For weddings in other cities a custom quote will need to be generated to estimate travel and accomodation costs.

  • Once you’ve decided you’d like to move forward with booking we will fill out and sign a digital contract together. After the contract is signed and complete a 25% non-refundable retainer is due to reserve your wedding date on our calendar. Your contract and retainer reserve the date completely, we will not book any other weddings or sessions on that day, it is all yours.

  • We offer a 10% discount to all FIRST RESPONDERS (police, fire, EMT) along with all ACTIVE DUTY & RETIRED MILITARY MEMBERS!

  • Absolutely!! We are a registered and established business, we have insurance that covers our liability on your wedding day, at the venue and after your wedding in case of data failure or loss of images. Some venues actually require proof of insurance from your photographer with them listed as an additionally insured party and this is something we can provide with no issue!

  • I’ve been photographing weddings independently since 2018, before that I second shot for a few companies to build my experience & portfolio for weddings. Since 2018 I have attended and photographed over 100 weddings, I would estimate around 115-120 but I’ve honestly lost track at this point!

    I absolutely love sharing wedding days with couples, seeing that joy on the greatest day of their lives is something that I’ll always love to capture. We’d love to celebrate with you too!

  • NO we do not! Some photography companies choose to book multiple weddings for the same date and then hire other photographers to cover the day for them. That is not something we are comfortable with and we only book one wedding per date so myself & Anna are the only ones showing up to your day! (unless you hire additional shooters or in emergency situations)

    *The only time we have hired an associate photographer to cover a wedding for us was in an absolute emergency (birth of children & death in the immediate family). We have a network of trusted photographer friends in case of emergencies like this!
